Hand Made Only

At Bozard & Co. we are able to build you a gun entirely by hand. Not just hand finished. That is hammer and chisel, file and emery cloth. No less than 800 hours will have passed to produce a gun that will have been made "the old way".

We employ the skills of only the best craftsmen to action, stock, engrave and finish our guns. And as you would expect we also use only 100% British made parts in our guns. Our chopper lump tubes are made to order locally to our specification.

Side by Side

Pigeon Guns

We can make bespoke 12 bore side by side 30" barrelled guns with 2 3/4" or 3" chambers weighing over 7 lbs. Complimented with a raised matted concave rib. Pistol grip stock and 3rd grip and side clips on the action with single or double trigger finish the look and feel of the perfect pigeon or fowling gun.

Guns can be made in any calibre from .410 to 4 bore

Over and Under

We can build you an over and under that is based on one of the most famous and desirable guns in the world - the Boss style over and under. Or if you prefer, the Purdey/Woodward system.

The barrels are usually fitted with a flat top low Woodward style game rib and chokes of your choice (Fixed or Teague multis). In calibres .410, 28, 20, 16, and 12 bore.

Once again, hand built without compromise.

Best available walnut is used and your o/u is stocked by a time served stocker with straight hand, rounded pistol, or full pistol grip. Finished in oil and fine checkering. A gold oval with your initials will also be included.

Your Bozard & Co. gun can be built to your every requirement so of course you can have what you like. Fine scroll engraving or a game scene. Deluxe wood (chosen by your self of course) single or double triggers, barrel length, etc.

Extras such as single trigger, interchangeable barrels, deluxe wood, and engraving are also a possibility.

Due to the nature of our gun making traditions, waiting time for side lock guns is 18 months to 2 years. For this we make no apologies. You cannot rush perfection.

Stocking can be carried out to your given measurements, however we will be delighted to offer you a fitting with our gunfitter.
